I've been going through a phase lately where I just cannot bare wearing TONNES of makeup. I probably still wear heaps of makeup but I just like the end result to look simple, natural and fresh so here it is, this is what I usually use when I do wear makeup. And guess what.. It's mostly drugstore!!!

Next I'll bronze up my cheek area with my Natio Mineral Pressed Powder Bronzer while throwing in a sneaky but ever so slight contour. I also like to use my bronzer to warm up my face by applying it to the sides of my forehead and a tiny bit on my nose.
For a natural flush of colour, I use my NYX Cream Blush in the shade Tea Rose and apply it softly with my ring finger. I don't know why I use that finger but it just feels right.
One of my favourite parts of doing my makeup is highlight and I tend to go heavy on the highlight. Very. Heavy. I usually apply it to the high points of my cheek bones, brow bone, down the bridge of my nose and on the cupids bow. I like to use my cream-to-powder highlight by Essence (which is only currently available in-store at Priceline and maybe Target) OR I'll use my powder highlight, which is the Physicians Formula Shimmer Strip... or I'll use both products layered on top of each other.

Moving onto eyes I like to run any brown eyeshadow through the crease of my eyes for a bit of dimension. I like to use the shade Risqué in my Too Faced Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette or even my bronzer.
For my eyelashes, I apply the smallest coat of my favourite mascara, the Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara in Very Black.
One regret that I have with how I used to do my makeup was me going heavy with my brows and now I just brush through them with the Essence clear Brow Gel. Thats literally all.

Finally, the lips. What I like to do for an everyday look is to line my lips with the Essence Lip Liner in Soft Berry and then using my finger, blend the colour into my lips. This shade is actually a few shades darker than my natural lip colour but it ends up looking pretty nice anyway.

So for my base, I like to start with my Garnier BB Cream in medium. When I'm feeling lazy I'll usually just apply the thinnest layer with my hands or I'll apply it with a beauty sponge or makeup brush. If I feel like I need to, I'll set my BB Cream with my Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder.
